Salutations one and all, OUTPOST is back @ TETRIS next Wednesday April 28th form 8p.m. till 11:30 p.m.
THIS MONTH’S FEATURE ARTIST AND Q’n'A IS..
Bleep (a.k.a. Jayson Haebich) … a Melbourne-based producer and visual artist who combines glitchy minimal house beats with video game inspired visuals that immerse the audience in a total audio visual experience. The line between observer and partipant blurs when audience members can manipulate and interact with the visuals through wireless controllers. Constantly seeking out new sounds, technologies and design aesthetics, Bleep’s AV set is an evolving landscape of colour and sound that is continually challenging the distinction between performer and audience..
Visit Bleep’s myspace site to check out some audio

Prescribed Stimulus Jam: The topic for extemporization by performers in one of the jams.
THE THEME FOR THIS MONTH’S P.S.J. IS LOOK BEFORE YOU LISTEN – see below for game parameters.
Often VJ artists are jamming along to audio artists (which we love) – for this jam however, we are going to flip it..
VIDEO ARTISTS – In brief consultation with each other, put some work up on the Tetris screens.
AUDIO ARTISTS – Sit in silence (it’s okay) and reflect on what the video artists are presenting. Interpret and present audio accordingly.
More Impromptu Shorter Sets: whether you want to give a tasty snack sized version of something you are working up or if you just feel like performing something more spontaneous – this is the arena for you.
Variation In Performance: We love it when things are less predictable, lets mash up different numbers of players, maybe try a round robin tag team type of affair?
