Outpost #10 wrap

Thanks to everyone who braved the cold and wet last Wednesday to come down to the Horse for Outpost #10. Thanks also to our feature artists - Anonymeye and Sam Price for playing some great music and jamming along with the rest of us.

Looks like there are some interesting things ahead for OUTPOST involving the Melbourne International Festival and Melbourne Fringe Festival. We’re in the process of sorting the details at the moment but as soon as things are confirmed we’ll let you know!

See you at OUTPOST #11!

Outpost #10

Well, our little digital offspring is growing up…
OUTPOST hits double figures this Wednesday the 27th of June.

To mark the occasion, we are having two feature artists as well as the a/v jams.

Anonymeye is an avant-country artist who reconfigures country and folk musics with electronic production techniques utilising electronic and acoustic instrumentation including laptop, acoustic guitar, and effects units.
Here’s what The Wire had to say about Anonymeye - “work[s] up something sublime from the dreary hum of malfunctioning neon lights and off-white plastic balcony railings, finding beauty in their humble everydayness”

Likely lad Sam Price will also grace us with a solo set to celebrate his newly acquired portability. Check out this link to hear some of Sam’s fine tunes.

mmm, sounds tasty.
